Anambra Police Station Set Ablaze by Hoodlums. The Anambra State Police Command has acknowledged an assault on one of its premises by unidentified individuals.

Tochukwu Ikenga, the command’s spokesperson, confirmed the incident as reported by Turo247newz. He stated that the attackers set fire to the police divisional headquarters located in Nneni, Anaocha Local Government Area of the State.

Ikenga, the spokesperson for the state police command, verified the attack but assured that there were no casualties. He clarified that no police officers were abducted, and no weapons were seized. Instead, the assailants hurled improvised explosive devices (IEDs) at the police facility, causing damage to a portion of the building.

Ikenga emphasized that the police personnel valiantly repelled the attackers, prompting them to flee. He also mentioned that operations are ongoing, and any further developments will be communicated.
