Bandits Seize 13 Individuals in Katsina, Loot Millions in Property.  According to a local resident who wished to remain anonymous, the attackers, armed with dangerous weapons, raided the village late on Monday. They stole valuable belongings from the villagers during the incident.

 It’s really sad to say, but in a recent attack by bandits in Kurechin Giye village, 13 people were kidnapped. Among them were 12 married women and one man. This happened in Makera Ward, in Dutsinma, which is part of Katsina State.

According to a local resident who wished to remain anonymous, the attackers, armed with dangerous weapons, raided the village late on Monday. They stole valuable belongings from the villagers during the incident.

When the troublemakers came, they took a lot of stuff that belonged to the people living there. It’s estimated to be worth millions of naira.

Despite the severity of the attack, neither the government nor security forces in the state have commented on the situation. The resident mentioned that the attack lasted for hours without any security intervention.

“The attackers were even reported to have forced the residents to give them a local drink, a kind of millet-based drink, meant for breaking the fast during Ramadan. They threw it on children and women, which is just awful, and then took off with a ton of valuable belongings,” the resident explained.
