The first four counts accuse Bobrisky of naira abuse during various social events, while the 5th  and 6th counts pertain to his company, Bob Express.

These counts are said to contravene Section 21(1) of the Central Bank of Nigeria Act, 2007.

Counts five and six accuse Bobrisky of failing to disclose his company’s activities to the Special Control Unit Against Money Laundering, despite substantial sums being deposited into the company’s bank accounts.

These alleged offenses are in violation of sections of the Money Laundering (Prevention and Prohibition) Act, 2022.

Bobrisky was arrested and detained by the EFCC in Lagos on Wednesday night, following an investigation initiated after a video surfaced showing him spraying and displaying stacks of new Naira notes at a movie premiere.

The EFCC invited the 31-year-old following reports of his actions at the premiere of a movie produced by Nollywood actress and producer Eniola Ajao on March 24, 2024, at Film One Circle Mall, Lekki, Lagos.
